The Urgency of Now is an open call to artists who refuse to remain silent — working across any medium to dissect the mechanics of fascism, complicity, and authoritarian rhetoric, and to disrupt its power. If your practice is a weapon of resistance and a tool for civic awakening, we want to see it.
Guidelines
Our gallery show is inclusive of all media except for AI generated work.
There will be two film programs:
- Films without sound will be projected on the gallery wall.
- Films with sound will be shown on a large monitor with headphones for listening.
Some films may be included in both programs, if there is sound that is not necessary for understanding.
In addition we will have one VR headset for individual viewing of VR works.
We are also open to gallery-ready performance art during the opening reception. Please contact us with proposals.
